How to stay Evergreen!!

 





​I had a conversation with one of my older friends today about the importance of spending time with God and staying consistent in our faith, no matter what challenges we may face in life.

We also discussed how we used to wonder how  some people can pray for hours .
During our conversation, I shared my own experiences and realization that prayer doesn't necessarily mean being on my knees for hours. It can also involve reading and meditating on scripture, or simply looking out the window and praising God for the beauty of nature. Sometimes, before I know it, hours have passed.

Our conversation then shifted to the topic of the Evergreen tree and its ability to stay beautiful and strong all year round. My friend expressed her desire to be like the evergreen tree, consistent and unwavering in her faith.

This got me thinking about the life lessons we can learn from the Evergreen tree. I too want to be like the evergreen, standing tall and beautiful even in the midst of difficult seasons in life. I want to remain consistent in my devotion to God, not withering like other trees might in unfavorable conditions.
Above all, I want my life to be a testimony to the greatness of God. Even when others see me going through tough times, I want to be the strong evergreen that points them to the source of my strength - God, "The Great I Am" who created heaven and earth.
So, I encourage you to stay consistent in your time with God, no matter what season of life you're in. I promise you, it will be your source of strength. Let us all strive to be like the Evergreen tree - unwavering in our faith and standing tall in our commitment to God.
